Biography
Amy Conrad Warner, Vice Chancellor for the IUPUI Office of Community Engagement, leverages IUPUI knowledge and resources with public and private partners to enrich scholarship, research and creative activity; prepares civic-minded professionals, and contributes to the public good by addressing critical societal issues.
She has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in strategic marketing and communication, community relations and regional economic development, government and alumni affairs and fundraising. She developed comprehensive services, strategic development of online, executive education, and emerging academic programs for adult learners. She helped establish the Indiana Commission on Community Service and the E-Commerce Division of the Indiana Department of Commerce.
Amy is deeply invested in the success, economic vitality and well-being of central Indiana, and serves on the boards of WFYI, Downtown Indy, Develop Indy Council, International Center, the Indy Chamber Hispanic Business Council, Indianapolis Urban League, TechPoint and the White River State Park Development Commission.
Amy is an Indiana native, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Master’s degree from the IU School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI. Amy is a PhD candidate in Philanthropic Studies at IUPUI.
