Enroll in Indiana Kids and get ready to succeed

If you or your student could benefit from tutoring or mentoring, consider enrolling in the Indiana Kids program.

As a participant, you’ll get access to a number of services.

  • Tutoring—You’ll receive one-on-one tutoring in math, English, science, social studies, and more. You can also attend virtual study groups and access studying resources.
  • Mentoring—You’ll meet with your college mentor at least twice a month to talk about academics, college, career goals, and the social issues you face at school, home, and work.
  • Workshops—You’ll be invited to periodic, campus-based workshops where you can connect with your mentor and participate in academic enrichment activities.

Serve with Indiana Kids and make an impact on a youth’s life

Make a difference in your community and get hands-on experience working with kids as an Indiana Kids mentor and tutor.

Your role as a tutor

As an Indiana Kids tutor, you’ll provide academic and social support to students in core subjects including math, English, science, and social studies. There are also opportunities to tutor students in advanced subjects like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, biology, chemistry, economics, and government.

Your sessions will take place after school hours, and can be done online or in person.

Your role as mentor

As a mentor, you’ll meet with your student at least twice a month—either online or in person.

At each session, you’ll provide guidance, support, and advice on academic, college, and career goals. You may also help them make positive choices when faced with difficult issues at home, school, or work.
